"SURELY A RECORD"

HOSPITAL VISITOR'S CONSTANCY

A record which the chairman, Mr. H. H. Mawley, said was probably unique was brought tinder the notice of the Wairarapa Hospital Board this week when the matron of the Greytown Hospital, Miss L. Higgison, reported that Miss H. Card had continued her Sunday visits throughout the year, bringing fruit for every patient. Miss Card was so punctual. Miss Higgison said, that she was sure the patients thought she was ora the staff.

"Surely this is a New Zealand record," said Mr. J. F. Thompson, who added that Miss Card had visited the hospital every Sunday for the past 25 years.

A handful of soda dissolved in a hot br.th is efficacious in banishing rheumatic pains from the back and legs.
