The London Distress Fund now totals £16,794 6s 3d. Kecent donations include the following:—
Wellington Amalgamated Society of Shop Assistants, £50; pupils of the Lyall Bay School (proceeds of stall run by Weir O'Connor, Keith Buchanan, Alex. Kettles, and Patsie Downie), £20 Is 6d; Ohariu School, £11 10s; Mr. F. I. Dawson, Sydney, Mrs. C. Blackley, £10 10s each; "Nine Bridge Helpers" (further donation), £2 8s; Taubman's Social and Sports Club (proceeds from euchre evening), £2 Is sd; Mrs. A. Osborne, £1 Is; "52 Bishopsgate," £1; standards four and five, Red Cross Circle, Te Aro School, 10s. ;
