BOYS' BRIGADE CAMP

The annual summer camp of the Wellington district of the Boys' Brigade closed recently after an enjoyable holiday had been spent by the boys on Mr. W H. Field's property about half a mile from Waikanae Beach. The camp was attended by 100 boys, representing Wanganui, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Hastings, Otaki, and Wellington. They were accommodated in bell tents, formed in three sides of a square and divided into four camp companies. Most of the days were spent fishing, swimming, and sunbathing, and the boys, throughout their time in camp, showed a wonderful spirit of keenness and willingness for their daily tasks.
