: A new bomber among the latest! additions to Britain's air strength, de-: ; signed to meet the R.A.F.'s need for / more long-range, heavy aircraft, is the giant "Stirling." The only comparable machine operating is the VickersArmstrong Wellington, which flies 3200 miles without refuelling. Capable of higher speeds, than the Spitfire, the Fleet Air Arm's newest and fastest fighter, the Fairey "Fulmar," is fitted in the leading edge of the wings with eight guns operated by the pilot. ,
