(Received December 14, 1.30 p.m.)
RUGBY, December 13
An Admiralty communique states that the British submarine Sunfish, while operating close to the Norwegian coast, torpedoed and sunk a German supply ship of about 4000 tons. She was deeply laden and it is probable that she was carrying a large cargo of ore to Germany.
Two torpedoes from the Sunfish were seen to strike home, and the enemy ship broke up and sank immediately.
The Sunfish also attacked a German oil tanker of about 5000 tons. This ship was hit and damaged.
