MUSIC TEACHERS

REGISTRATION BOARD

Each year the registered music teachers are asked to elect their own registration board of the Music Teachers' Association of New Zealand. There was an election this year in each of the four centres, more than the required two for each of the four provinces having been nominated. The election was conducted by Mr. E. C. Cachemaille, secretary of the associa-. tion, and resulted in the return of. the following:— Auckland. —Dr. S. K. Phillips and Mr. Irwin Moore Cthe latter of Gisborne). Wellington.—Messrs. Gordon Short ! and H. Temple White. Canterbury.—Dr, J. C. Bradshaw land Mr. Len Barnes. j Otago.— Messrs. Charles Martin and I Max Scherek. i There are only two changes as the result of- the election. In Wellington Mr. White succeeds Mr. Laurence Watkins and' Mr. Barnes succeeds Mr. Alfred Bunz as a Canterbury representative. . .
