EARTHQUAKE IN NORTH WALES

(Received December 14, 9.30 a.m.)

LONDON, December 13. Towns and villages in North Wales were shaken last night by an earth tremor which lasted for 43 seconds. People at Pwllheli ran into the streets, thinking that the district was being heavily bombed. The whole town was rocked and windows rattled, but no damage was done. The shock was also felt throughout Carnarvonshire.
