The Domei news agency says that the Foreign Minister (Mr. Matsuoka) is planning a vigorous protest to the Dutch East Indies Government against a recurrence of anti-Japanese incidents, simultaneously with a demand for an apology and compensation for losses. Three anti-Japanese incidents occurred within a week, including the burning of Japanese flags and forcible detention of a Japanese consular officer.
