Sir, —I wish to contradict the statement regarding the apple problem. If the case was referred to the Internal Marketing Department, apparently a quantity of the apples was overlooked, because half an onion sack I took home were quite firm. Apart from the apples nothing was mentioned about the sacks, which were certainly of value, but not so when buried. All I ask is fair play, and I am a contributor to the Patriotic Appeal Fund. So why throw money away.—l am, etc.,
