COMPULSORY LOAN
EXCELLENT RESPONSE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) : AUCKLAND, November 7. Though he had no precise figures, information he had received indicated that the compulsory war loan of £8,000,000 would be over-subscribed, said the Minister of Finance, Mr. Nash. He expressed . pleasure at the response and recalled that £7,500,000 had been in sight when he announced the progress total recently.
