FEATHERS AND PINS
The" challenges for the Edwin Feathers have been decided. Khandallah held the Feathers from last season sand retained them in a match with Woburri. The second challenge was by 'Karori, and in this the challengers—Hamilton, Cattanach, Dunbar, arid <• -Cooper (s) —defeated the holders—Nalder, Porteous, Sadd, and Bringans (s) —by 22 to 11. In the first challenge for the Hill [Pins, held;.from last season by Eastbourne, the holders won from Thorndon. ■ Karori—Morton, Parsons, Fredericks, and Neilson (s) —won the first challenge match of the season for the R.S.A. Feathers, held since last season by Hataitai. ■ The second challenge— Porirua against Karori—was to have been decided this week, but rain caused a postponement.
