BOWLING
WOBURN TOURNAMENT
The one-day tournament held by the Woburn Bowling Club yesterday was interrupted by rain after three rounds had been played. At that stage the fours skipped by O'Donnell (Wellington) and Tamblyn (Lower Hutt) were the leaders in a "field" of sixteen fours, and it was left to them to decide the issue. Instead of playing a few ends to determine the winners, an agreement was reached by the leaders that the prize be given to the Crippled Children Fund.
