DUNEDIN, October 18. A meeting of the Dunedin Federated Furniture and Related Trades Industrial Union of Workers adopted the following resolution:— : , "That the: union protests strongly against the recent' amendment to the War Emergency Regulations, empowering the Minister to impose far-reach-ing and chaotic penalties on officers and the rank and file of industrial unions, and further instructs branch delegates to the Trades Council to take the matter up on, the council at the earliest opportunity."
