EXTRA ACCOMMODATION
The conviction that arrangements could be made for 'dealing with all cases arising from a war emergency or any possible war epidemic was expressed by the Minister of Health (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) in an interview. He said that many arrangements had been made already to cope with cases.
The Minister expressed appreciation of the assistance arfd co-operation being received from hospital boards in the steps that had been taken by the Health Department to ensure additional accommodation being available. Departmental officers had been investigating offers of accommodation in all parts of the Dominion, and quite a number had already been accepted for the duration of the war.
