CONFERENCE WITH DOCTORS
TO OPEN NEXT MONTH
A meeting of the executive of tht British Medical Association is to commence in Wellington on September 4 and the conference with Government representatives regarding the extension of the Social Security scheme to cover medical practitioner benefits will follow.
In making this announcement today th'i Minister of Health (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) remarked, "We' will discuss our proposals with the medical representatives and will also be prepared to consider any alternative suggestions they may make."
