RUMANIAN PLANE CRASHES

LONDON, August 24,

A message from Berlin states that the Rumanian Minister of Propaganda, M. Crainic, and also the Director of Tourists, well-known journalists, and members of a trade delegation to Germany were among the 14 persons killed when a passenger plane from Bucharest crashed in the mountains in western Rumania in a hailstorm. The pilot attempted to land when ice formed on the .wings of the plane.
