ARMY LEAVE STOPPED
RUMANIAN DECREE HUNGARY ALSO ARMING LONDON, August 25. Bucharest reports that King Carol issued a decree stopping army leave and calling up all reserve officers and [four classes of conscripts. It is re- ; ported from Budapest that the Hun- | garian Government is also calling up imen and requisitioning motor vehicles and taxis. General Tanescu, Chief of Rumania's General Staff, resigned after a meeting of the Crown Council. He has been succeeded by General Mihaii, who is Vice-Premier.
There has been strong criticism of Rumania over the Hungarian radio since the severance of the talks.
