Mrs. Alfred Caselberg, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. ■

Guide Rangi, of Rotorua, will be lady divisional superintendent of the first Maori nursing division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade in New Zealand.

Miss Nancy Noakes, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to her home at Epsom, Auckland.

Mrs. V. Powell-Wifnn, Wellington, is visiting New Plymouth for the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. P. A. McHardy, Havelock North, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Bunny, "Marangi," Bideford, Wairarapa.

News has been received in Christchurch that Mrs. W. P. Thompson, who for the last few years has been living in Hong Kong, has been evacuated to Manila, and hopes to come to New Zealand at the earliest opportunity. Mrs. Thompson, who is accompanied by her two small children, a girl and a boy, is a daughter of Dean Haggitt, of Nelson, and formerly vicar of St. Mary's Church, Merivale, Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs. Brian Boys, Havelock North, will be visitors to" Christchurch for Grand National week, and will stay with Mrs. J. Mowbray Tripp at her house in Park Terrace.
