TIDAL WAVE
DISASTER IN JAPAN
TOKIO, August 2,
The correspondent of the "Asahi Shimbun" at Sapporo says that scores of people are dead and missing as a result of a tidal wave which struck the western coast of Hokkaido. Fifteen hundred fishing boats were washed away.
