REMANDS GRANTED

A remand until tomorrow was granted. Victor Christian, a presser, aged 21, a native of Pitcairn Island, who appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, charged with stealing £88 19s 6£d from the dwelling-house of James Qavin, Abel Smith Street. :

Frederick William Huff, a labourer, aged 20, charged with unlawful conversion of a car, was remanded until August 6.
