LONDON, July 29

The British Sugar Corporation produced 500,000 tons of white and raw beet sugar for the year ended March 31 from a crop from which a record acreage yield was harvested. Additional to the sugar, the crop provided 300,000 tons of dried pulp and 48.000 tons of saleable molasses.

Trading profit was £722,143, compared with £383,312 for last year.
