OPPOSITION BY MR. CURTIN

CANBERRA, This Day
The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. J. Curtin, expressed opposition to the proposal to' extend the life of Parliament being referred to "anybody except the people of Australia." "It is nobody else's business," he added. "I see no difficulty in holding an election, assuming that Australia, when the election is. due, is in the same position as it is at present."
