KATAN AND McCREADY.

John Katan and Earl McCready, the two Canadian wrestlers, will meet again at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night in an Empire title bout, but this time the parts they will play will be reversed. McCready will be the challenger instead of the defender of the championship and there is much interest in now he will appear in his new role. All through this season McCready has been wrestling with more fire and aggressiveness than is usual with him, but his previous efforts will probably be completely overshadowed when 1/ goes out with a championship to be won. Katan showed in his bout with Blomfield that he is a worthy holder of the title, and McCready is likely to find that the winning back of that which has been lost is even more difficult than holding it in the first place. There will be preliminaries from 8 o'clock, including a five-round bout between two local professionals.
