THE AEOLIANS.

The Aeolians, under the comductorship of Maxwell Fernie, present their seventh concert in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Tuesday evening next. Following their policy of giving concerts in aid of .deserving charities, the forthcoming performance is to be presented for the benefit of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, Wellington district. The choir has been fortunate in securing the services, as assisting artists, of Mrs. Douglas Payne (soprano), Harry Matthew (baritone), the well-known Wellington tenor, Ray Trewern, and an instrumental trio consisting of Lalla Keyes (pianist), Desmond Lavin (violinist), and James Rodgers (flautist. ) An attractive programme has been selected, the numbers to be performed by the choir being such that they will be appreciated to the full by the average audience, while, at the same time, tending to create and sustain an interest in choral music. The box plan is open at the D.I.C.
