RUGBY, July 17,
An Admiralty communique states: "Information has now been received that one of our cruisers received damage during an enemy air attack on July 8. This damage, however, did not affect the ship's fighting efficiency, and she took her full part in the action against the Italian fleet on July 9, in which action there were no British casualties. The ship is ready for ser-
vice."
