THE EGG MARKET
» Wellington wholesale prices of eggs are as follows: —Specials, 2s 5d per dozen; A grade, 2s 4d; B, 2s 3d. Supplies are increasing and so is demand, but the effect of the egg marketing regulations has had a hardening influence oh the market. The Auckland Egg Marketing Committee announces that wholesale egg prices are unchanged this week, as follows: —Hen: First grade, large 2s s£d a dozen, medium 2s 3id, small Is ll£d. Duck: First grade, large 2s 3£d a dozen, medium, 2s ljd, small Is ll£d.
