URUGUAYAN FAITH IN
DEMOCRACY
{British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 6. Mr. Churchill has received from Senor Jose Serrato, president of a committee which supports the cause of the Allies in Uruguay, a message expressing profound faith in the destinies of democracy, of which the British Empire is today the principal bulwark. The British nation, the message stated, is "the hope of humanity and the trustee of the faith of the civilised world."
