In such a large field, with the draw an important factor, there is room for another upset this year. The favourite promises to be i Krlemhild, whose Wanganui form will be well tested in this class. Norse, Last Acre, Tuatara, and Flying Flag are other good form prospects, and there are nlso decided possibilities on r recent showings about JMidgard, Viracious, Race Away, Gold Don, Dainty Dell, Lord Lynn, and Laughing Song. A win for any of the remainder of the field would probably be an the nature of a surprise, though Parchment ' is one who might make a forward showing, as he has been working well on soft tracks. Those best supported will include KRIEMHILD. 6 NORSE and MIDGARD.
