STAFF CONTRIBUTIONS

Donations to the National Patriotic Fund acknowledged this week include £773 14s 7d contributed by the Greek community in Wellington as the result of their splendid patriotic gesture last Friday. The total amount of the National Fund up to Monday was £142,793 17s lOd. i Further contributions received ! through the Lady Galway Patriotic 'Guild are acknowledged. Another feature of the list is the number of staff contributions. The .staff of the D.I.C, Ltd., Wellington, has now made its third contribution. There is a donation of £61 7s from the trading departments of the Public Service, and two anonymous donations total £270. The list is as follows: — Total donations to June 25, £141,305 16s 3d; Greek community, £773 14s 7d; New Zealand Society of Accountants, £262 10s; anonymous, £220; Mrs. G. Frood, £50; anonymous, £50; D.I.C. Ltd., Wellington, staff collection, third contribution, £16; Reserve Bank Of New Zealand Social Sports Club, £10 10s; New Zealand Fruit Growers' Federation, Ltd., staff collection, £3 5s 6d; Clyde Quay Old-time Dance Club, £5; Manakau Croquet Club, £4; G. Batman, £3; Grand Hotel staff, £2 14s; E.M.R., £2; sundry miscellaneous donations, including amounts from staff of trading departments of the ■Public Service, £61 7s.
