ARMY CAMP HUT EXTENSION

Approval was given at a meeting of the standing committee of the National Patriotic Fund Board in Wellington yesterday to an extension of the Salvation Army social and recreation hut at Burnham Military Camp to provide additional room.

Arrangements were made for the provision of a social and recreation hut at the Ohakea Air Force training centre, permission having been given for the transference of the social hut from the Tawatapu Public Wnrks camp for this purpose.
