MR. PETER ORR LOWE

Mr. Peter Orr Lowe died in a Wellington private hospital recently.

The late Mr. Lowe was born at Torphican, Linlithgow, Scotland, in 1883. For 22 years he was employed by the well-known Glasgow footwear house of A. and W. Paterson. In 1925 he came to New Zealand as branch inspector for a Dunedin firm. A few years ago he made a trip overseas, and on his return accepted an appointment as branch inspector with R. Hannah and Co., Ltd. In his business capacity the late Mr. Lowe was well known throughout the Dominion and he will be greatly missed by his many friends • both hr this- country and overseas.

He leaves a widow and a daughter, Miss Rita Lowe.
