HUSSIFS FOR ARMY AND NAVY
Groups of women are busily engaged in making hussifs —khaki for the Army and navy blue for the Navy. In response to an appeal made some weeks ago by the Women's Metropolitan Patriotic Committee a quantity of the mending materials necessary for filling the hussifs has been received. The committee, however, still requires a large number of white pearl buttons, suitable for shirts^ and underpants, and needles, both sewing and darning. Safety pins are also required. Parcels may be left at the Metropolitan Patriqtic Committee rooms, 95 Wakefield Street, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, except Saturdays.
