DUNEDIN, This Day,
The trustees of the Dunedin Savings Bank donated this morning a -total of £4550 for various organisations operating in the city. One thousand pounds goes to the Plunket Society and £1000 is divided between the joint council of the Red Cross Society and the St. John Ambulance; £500 goes to the Mayor's Taieri flood relief, £500 to the Dunedin orphanages, and £500 to the Otakou Maori Centennial memorial. Included in other amounts are the Salvation Army, children's health camps, and hospital radio.
