MINED AND SUNK

DUTCH PASSENGER SHIP

(Received May 14, 2.40 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, May 13. The Dutch passenger steamer Van Rensselaer (4241 tons) was mined and sunk as it was leaving Ijmuiden. The captain died of heart failure. Five persons are missing, and 150 were saved.
