STAFF CHANGES
BANK OF NEW ZEALAND
The following changes in the staff of the Bank of New Zealand are an-
nounced:—
Mr. W. A. H. Todd, manager of the bank's Masterton branch, is to retire on pension on June 30, 1940, after 43 years' service. Prior to his appointment as manager at Masterton in 1929, Mr. Todd was in charge of the Opotiki branch for eight years.
Mr. E. J. Heffer, assistant manager at Wellington, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Todd as manager at Masterton, Mr. Heffer was manager of the north end branch until 1938, and immediately prior to that appointment he was manager at Lower Hutt. Mr. A. R. Frethey, accountant at Wellington branch, has been promoted to the position of assistant manager at Wellington, in succession to; Mr. Heffer, and Mr. C. V. Marshall, at present accountant at the bank's Napier branch, is to be transferred to Wellington as accountant. ■ • :• -' ■"' ■'■' „. Mr> F: A. Letford, of-.the head .office staff," will succeed Mr. Marshall as accountant at Napier.
