THE "LESSON"
"Often in summer after tea, my sister and I would get out our bike and have a ridel It was immense fun to teach my sisetr to ride. How we both laughed when she tried to mount, and, after a desperate struggle, wabbled down the road and suddenly crashed into the bank! After she had had her turn I would, with a most superior air, show her how to mount properly and then ride swiftly away! O, it really was thrilling and lovely, to ride along and feel the wind gushing behind me, and, with my frock flapping up and down, I would continue tv enjoy myself in this way, until I awakened to the fact that my sister was calling for me and, with loud protests, demanding her rightful ride!"
