PACIFIC AIR SERVICE

WASHINGTON, May 2.

Mr. J. T. Trippe, president of PanAmerican Airways, in a speech before the Chamber of Commerce, said all facilities had,, been installed at Auckland and Noumea for the proposed New Zealand-America air line. New Zealand and New Caledonia had granted all the necessary permissions, and the inauguration of the service awaited only authorisation by the United States Government.

Mr. Trippe said the service at first would be monthly, but it was hoped within a year to inaugurate a weekly service. He added that a five-day service was planned.
