WELFARE APPEAL

FIGHTING SERVICES

A further contribution, of £15,000 has been received by the National Patriotic Fund Board from the V.M.C.A. and Salvation Army, who conducted on behalf of the board the appeal for £ 100,000 to provide comforts for New Zealand's fighting forces. With the amounts previously received and acknowledged the board has received to date a total of £58,500 from these two organisations as the result of their joint appeal. Additional contributions have still to come.
