SPECIAL KARORI SERVICES
It was reported at a meeting of the Karori Auxiliary of the R.S.A. last night that arrangements had been completed for the' special service in, the district on Anzac Day. Major A. G. C. Deuber (King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry) and Mr. R. A. Wright would be the speakers at the service at the school, following which the parade, with wreath-bearers,- would proceed to the Soldiers' Cemetery for remembrance tributes to be paid there, The parade of ex-servicemen and present members of H.M. Forces and others taking part, headed by the Boys' Instiute Band, would move off in the first place from the Returned Soldiers' Hallf off Campbell Street, at 9.45 a.m. for the school, where the service would commence at 10 a.m. Those joining the parade for the march to the cemetery would fall in behind the exservicemen at the conclusion of the school service.
