NEW LIGHTSHIPS
UNATTENDED TYPE
TO REPLACE EXISTING SHIPS

LONDON, March 25
In view of German attacks on lightships and the machine-gunning of the crews, new lightships have been designed, on which lights will burn for two months unattended. These will replace all existing lightships shortly.
