BIG FRENCH ARMY SCHEME

PARIS, March 25,

Yesterday 700 soldiers planted' 3000 acres of potatoes in the vicinity of the Maginot Line on land from which civilians have been evacuated. The French Army aims at planting 30,000 acres and producing 50,000 tons of potatoes—if the work is not interrupted.
