LORRY OVERTURNED BY

WIND

The high wind blowing this morning was responsible for the capsize of a ■heavily-laden vegetable lorry which was proceeding along the Hutt Road just north of Ngahauranga at about 8.15 o'clock. The truck was high up on the banking when a gust caught it and turned it over towards the. middle of the road, but apparently, the driver, in a fruitless effort to get it straight, touched the 'outside fence with one of his wheels. When the lorry went over ■ the road was strewn with vegetables. .Fortunately, no one was injured.
