GUILD'S WORK FOR SEAMEN
The ■ executive of the Ladies' Harbour Lights1 Guild met on March 11, Mrs. Harley Brown presiding. The chaplain, the .Rev. B. J. Williams, reported that 1400 men had visited the mission during the month of January and he pointed out that it was very necessary, particularly at the present time, for seamen to have a suitable place to spend their spare time.
The committee has arranged the annual "at home" for group leaders and all friends and helpers of the mission to take.place on April 11 at 2,30 p.m. The hostesses for the month are as follows: —Sunday teas, Mrs. Murdoch, Mrs. Honsa, Mrs. Davfes, Miss Rowlands, and Miss Cable; suppers, Mesdames Harley Brown, Morton, Webb, Mack, Bluridell, and Gwyn. Williams.
