LETTERS IN WELSH
WILL BE PERMITTED
RULING BY THE CENSOR
The Conti-oller of Censorship at Wellington has replied to the application made by Mr, John Tucker, president of the Wellington Welsh Society, and representative [of the Welsh Society branches of the Dominion, stating that letters written in the Welsh language by definitely established Welsh people to Welsh people in Wales will be permitted. Furthermore, no difficulties will be raised in the matter of sending reports of local Welsh societies to England and Wales in.the Wefsh language.
"The Welsh people of the Dominion appreciate; this liberty," commented Mr. Tucker today, "and give assurance that there will be no abuse of it, and that the fullest co-operation-with the Government and the British Commonwealth of Nations in this life and death struggle will be given wholeheartedly."
