CHRISTCHURCH, March 15. A warning that New Zealand was in a position of danger was given thjs evening by the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) at a recruiting rally. "Some say our isolation gives us protection," said the Minister. "Are we safe? We know that in the last war mines were laid round this coast by a raider. What happened in the last war can happen in this war. -.:■ "We are in a position of danger, specially to our shipping and our own people."
