CAKE MAKING
A delicious light sponge cake can oe made without using any self-raising flour, baking powder, or any other raising ingredient, provided loaf-sugar i» used instead of ordinary sugar. The loaf-sugar must be broken slightly in cold water, and then boiled for one minute, before adding.
