An inquiry into interference suffered by Ruatiti in the Tinnkori Handicap was opened and adjourned till Saturday. T. R. George, the trainer of Lord Cavendish, was fined £2 for the late scratching of the horse for the Railway Handicap. Four tickets were sold on the totalisator before the scratching was notified, but a full refund was made.
