TWO LINESMEN HURT

FALL FROM POLE

Receiving an electric shock while they were working on a pole in Balfour Street, Vogeltown, shortly^ before 11 a.m. today, two City Council linesmen fell to the ground and were subsequently removed to hospital by the Free Ambulance.

The injured men were Mr. K. Steer, of 17b Rugby Street, who suffered shock, an injury to the forehead and right ankle, and Mr. W. Macwhinnie, of 37 Melrose Street, shock, and injury to the forehead and left arm.
