"QUEENS" IN PLUNKET

CARNIVAL

Each of the four "Queens," Misses Ruth Wheeler, Patricia Gledhill, Suzanne Bothamley, and Patsy Ashbolt, I who are competing ih the Plunket Society's carnival, has a strong committee supporting her.

Mrs. Philip Hanna and Mrs. Peter McLean will sponsor Miss Wheeler (Navy Queen), and Mrs. Lan Reid will act as her secretary.' Her committee will include Mesdames Allan Reid, Ernest Blundell, Bradshaw, Bob Whyte, Cleary, Hobbs, Misses Valmai Richardson, Joan Gibbons, Paddy and Bobbie Gibbons, Joan and Val Maudsley, Helen Widdop, Pam Blundell, Paddy Steele, June'Luckie, Marjorie Hutton, and Mary Allan.*

Miss Gledhill (Army Queen), who is sponsored by Mrs. T. C. A. Hislop and Mrs. Knox Gilmer, has Mrs. P. de Bathe Brandon as secretary. Her committee comprises Lady Norwood, Mesdames Gledhill, B. Miss Suzanne Bothamley (Air Force) will have as her sponsors Mrs. P. Fraser and Mrs. W. Nash.
