CARNIVAL

Each of the four "Queens," Misses Ruth Wheeler, Patricia Gledhill, Suzanne Bothamley, and Patsy Ashbolt, I who are competing ih the Plunket Society's carnival, has a strong committee supporting her.

Mrs. Philip Hanna and Mrs. Peter McLean will sponsor Miss Wheeler (Navy Queen), and Mrs. Lan Reid will act as her secretary.' Her committee will include Mesdames Allan Reid, Ernest Blundell, Bradshaw, Bob Whyte, Cleary, Hobbs, Misses Valmai Richardson, Joan Gibbons, Paddy and Bobbie Gibbons, Joan and Val Maudsley, Helen Widdop, Pam Blundell, Paddy Steele, June'Luckie, Marjorie Hutton, and Mary Allan.*
