HEAD-ON COLLISION

HASTINGS, February 11,

Five people received slight injuries when two motor-cars collided head on in a heavy rainstorm on the main road 10 miles south of Hastings late on Saturday afternoon. The injured are Mr. Clement Leonard Maskey, Mr. William Ilsop, Mr. Stewart Munro, Mr. K. Retter, and Miss Katherine Williams. All received cuts about the head, and abrasions and shock.

The men are residents of Palmerston North ahd the woman is a former sister in a Hastings private hospital. The vehicles were practically wrecked by the severe impact.
